The Joan Vincent Collection

My sister Vera and I are confirmed bookaholics. We have been collecting research books for the last thirty years on Georgian and Regency England, and Europe in the Napoleonic Age. The last encompasses all of the Regency and some of the late Georgian period depending on how strictly you define each age. Vera loves to collect books on clothing while I love journals, letters, and memoirs of the participants in Wellington's campaigns on the Peninsula—Iberian that is (Portugal and Spain). In addition we collect a little of everything from these periods and others as you will see. The books are listed by a classification system that is logical for me but not necessarily for everyone. Dates in parentheses after titles indicate original date of publication. Also you are not seeing double when you see a title repeated--in a collection as large as Vera's and mine duplicates occasionally happen.
